Two Dimensional
Influenced by the artwork of Piet Mondrian and the detail work of photographer Aaron Siskind, I like to photograph the juxtaposition of shapes, colors, patterns, and textures in two dimensional vignettes. When finding a subject with potential, I study it and look for a piece of the scene that interests me and makes a pleasing composition that reveals even more as my eye moves throughout the scene. Sometimes in color, other times in black and white, I find these details appealing.
